Weekly activities for Chelsea Middle School. Don't forget school picture day is Tuesday, Sept. 15th. We will have a Pep Rally for middle school Monday at 2:30pm with class completions. 8th grade wear black, 7th grade wear green, 6th grade wear white. Student council will be handing out a spirit stick to the winning class!

Tonight is homecoming night!! Festivities will begin promptly at 6:15. All attendants and escorts should be here by 5:30 for pictures. There will be a tribute to honor the 25th anniversary of 9/11 at 6:50 followed by the National Anthem. Both the Chelsea and Nowata bands will be performing at halftime for your viewing entertainment. Go Dragons!!!

The home softball game scheduled for today vs Pawhuska at 4:30 has been cancelled. It will be played on Monday at 5:00 where we will have our "Pack the Park" event.

It's Homecoming week at Chelsea!! Join us on Thursday night at 7:00 for our parade downtown. The parade will conclude with a pep assembly by Main Street Diner.

Let's pack the park for our Lady Dragons softball game against Pawhuska!! Game time is at 4:30 and all 9-12 students will get in for free!! $100 will be deposited into the activity fund for the class that has the highest percentage of students who attend! There must be a minimum of 15 students from your class to qualify for the award.

A message from the Boys & Girls Club: Exciting news!!!! The Boys & Girls Club will reopen on Monday, September 14th for normal after-school hours! If your child would like to become a member or continue their membership, we will need all new and returning members to complete a membership form. Please stop by the Boys & Girls Club on Saturday, September 12th from 9am - 1pm to get your child enrolled. We are looking forward to seeing everyone and welcoming our club members back! This afternoon, CMS & CHS will be practicing a lockdown drill. Students have been made aware that we will have a drill and it is only a drill. If you have any questions, please contact the middle school office.

CMHS students were treated to an amazing motivational presentation today by Reggie Dabbs. Reggie is a professional saxophonist who played college football at Tennessee. He serves as the team chaplain for all 32 NFL teams and 6 NBA teams. He also has a great personal relationship with LeBron James!!!! Thank you to Clearview Church in Claremore for covering the expense and Jeremiah Barner for setting it up.

REMINDER: A parent information meeting will be at held at 6:00pm this evening in the high school commons area to discuss the Washington, D.C. trip planned for next summer. This travel opportunity is open to any student in grades 8-12. We hope to see you this evening!

OSU is offering an in-person and online tutoring opportunity for students across the state. See the attached flyer for more information.
