
Reminder: Students if you would like to submit a photo of a family member who has served in the military for our Veterans Day Program, the photos need to be submitted to Mr. Shoate by Wednesday, November 8th. You may email photos with information (name of individual, military branch and service dates, and relation to student) to rshoate@chelseadragons.net or drop them by Mr. Shoate's classroom. Late submissions will make it into our slide show presentation for the assembly.
Our District wide Veterans Day Assembly will be Friday, November 10th at 10:00am in the main gym. We hope to see you there!

With the World Series on tonight, the Forensic Science story may be on the 5:00 newscast.

There will be a story about the Forensic Science program offered at CHS tonight on the Fox 23 news at 6:00.

Chelsea Public Schools will be hosting a Veterans Day assembly on Friday November 10th at 10:00AM in Dale Wilson Memorial Gymnasium. All four campuses will have students making presentations. The public is invited to attend and Veterans will be invited to a luncheon at the conclusion of the assembly.

Must enroll in the 8th, 9th, 10th or 11th grade.
Must be a student whose parents' federal adjusted gross income does not exceed:
$60,000 with 1 or 2 dependent children OR
$70,000 with 3 or 4 dependent children OR
$80,000 with 5 or more dependent children.
Upon completion of the program’s requirements, your student will earn:
Tuition at an Oklahoma public two-year college or four-year university.
OR a portion of tuition at an accredited Oklahoma private college or university.
OR a portion of tuition for approved programs at Oklahoma public technology centers.

Basketball season for CMS kicks off next week with the Foyil 6th Grade Tournament. The tournament schedule is attached.


The annual Cherokee Nation Angel Project is now accepting applications online only through the Gadugi Portal until Nov. 10.
To complete applications, Cherokee Nation citizens must be registered on the Gadugi Portal. You can access the application by signing into the Gadugi Portal at https://gadugiportal.cherokee.org/ and selecting “Applications” from the top blue navigation bar. From the Applications page, select “Angel Project” from the list of available programs. After selecting the application, income guidelines and other eligibility requirements will be provided.
The Cherokee Nation Angel Project assists eligible Cherokee children, under the age of 16, who fall within low-income guidelines and reside within the Cherokee Nation Reservation.
Cherokee citizens who apply for the Angel Project must provide:
· Proof of income
· Proof of residency
· A photo identification
· Tribal citizenship cards for all children
· Children’s clothing sizes
· Children’s gift ideas
When applying, applicants will also be able to choose a gift pick-up location from a drop-down menu. For assistance or questions about the application, please call 918-458-6900.

All Fall Festival raffle tickets are due on Monday by 1pm.
Students may wear Halloween costumes on Friday, October 27th. Costumes must be school appropriate and may not contain any toy/plastic/pretend weapons of any kind.
Students may bring candy (no jolly ranchers or candy that contains peanuts or is processed in a facility with peanuts) to pass out to younger students (pre-k through 5th grade) on Friday during our trick-or-treat activity.
