!! ATTENTION ALL PARENTS !! Mon, Oct 6, 2025 Due to a water main break in the City of Chelsea, the school will be without water for 2 to 4 hours. Without the ability to serve lunches and provide sanitary care for our students, we are initiating early release for all students beginning immediately. Car rider pick-up will follow normal procedures. Buses will load and leave at 12:00 PM. If you have a bus rider that will become a car rider, please call your student's site office to let them know. We apologize for the inconvenience, but under the circumstances of information provided to us, this is best for our students.

Attention Middle School families: Parent-Teacher Conferences are this Thursday, October 9th from 3:30-9:30. We also have a middle school football game in Colcord Thursday evening. A few staff will not be at conferences, due to the football game. Please check the Dragon App - Rooms for each of your student’s classes for more conference information, or to schedule a time to meet with your student’s teacher. If you have any questions, please contact the middle school office.

Our Men & Women in the Making Mentor Program has started back up for the school year. CMS is thankful for the time Bruce Parks and Teressa Moore devote to leading these programs, and for all those who volunteer their time and resources to invest in the lives of our students. Men in the Making is held once a week at Parks Custom Cabinetry. This week, our young men learned about woodworking and machinery by putting together these amazing wooden creations.

Today at CHS a low dose of pepper spray was disbursed in a classroom. Out of abundance of caution all students affected were checked by our nursing staff for their safety. Parents of those students will be notified by our nursing staff. If you have any questions please call the High School office.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the cancellation of our varsity football game with Adair on Friday, October 3, 2025. Tragedy has struck close to the Green Dragon Family and in honor and support of our players and their families we believe this in the best interest of all involved. We appreciate the support, cooperation, and prayers from the Adair Warriors. Now is the time for the Green Dragon Community to rally around our students and their families. We ask that you join us in prayerful support during this time of regrettable tragedy.

On September 27th, the Fire of the Dragon Marching Band competed in their first marching competition of the year in Vinita, Oklahoma, earning 3rd place! We have two more competitions coming up, one in Glenpool and another in Beggs, and we’d love your support!

Chelsea student council members attended OBI workshop last week. Our first blood drive of the year is October 7th at the high school. More information is coming next week.

Leadership students from Chelsea High School are in Miami, Oklahoma, today attending NEO Leadership Day. Chelsea has attended this event for over 6 years. #gogoneo

Miss Lawson's Earth Science class created some planet information posters. Some of our students were willing to showcase theirs! Great job!
