Hello Bandmates!!
Hope everyone is having a great summer. Just wanted to send a reminder to parents and fellow students: Summer Band Camp will be hosted August 4th - 15th except weekends. Each rehearsal will be from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM students will need to come to practice unless spoken to prior to practice with Mr. Paul. We both understand it is still summer time, vacations have been planned, things come up, but we do ask that communication is given so we can stay up to date with your students. Some days of summer Band will be dedicated to certain sections of the Band.
Attached is a list of this each student will need to bring for summer rehearsal. Summer Band Camp will be both fun and challenging but we are looking forward to seeing all of the students and having a great school year! I highly recommend that parents get involved we could always use your help. Especially because this upcoming school year we are trying to have an end of the year school trip. This will mean we will need chaperones, to fundraise, and cultivate an atmosphere of success both on the student and parent side.

What a great accomplishment by our special education director and staff at CHS!!! Chelsea was recognized at the Special Education Directors Dinner as the top small school for graduation and drop-out rates. Super awesome!!!

Cedar Point Church in Claremore is hosting a free shoe giveaway on August 2nd! We want to help help families who would like to attend this event, but due to work schedules, transportation challenges or other conflicts may not be able to. Students must be present to receive a pair of shoes. If you would like your student to attend, but need transportation, please fill out the form below. We will provide transportation for any Chelsea student.

Chelsea Schools is excited to welcome our students back on Wednesday, August 20. Some additional important dates are New Student Enrollment on Tuesday, August 5 from 1pm-8pm, and Meet the Teacher & Open House on Tuesday, August 19 from 4pm-6pm. Softball, Cheer, and Cross Country practices have all began. Make sure your student athlete has an OSSAA physical and you have completed the necessary documentation. Please contact your coach if you have questions.

Congratulations to our very own Avery Lawhorn for being selected Class 2a All Star by Class!! She was also selected Native American All State!!! She will play in the game today at 2:30. We're so proud of you!

Attention Seniors!! Your transcripts, diplomas, and senior panel pictures are available for pickup starting tomorrow from 9-12 until June 11th. You will need to sign in order to receive them. Chelsea Public Schools will host the first Rotnie Clarke Shooting Camp for grades 4th - 12th, boys and girls, on June 17, 2025 from 10 AM-12 PM. Contact James Bridges (918-327-3167), Jamie Quigley (918-521-8267), or Champ Bridges (918-408-1926) to reserve your spot. Walk-ins are welcome. Registration begins at 9:30 AM.

Summer credit recovery for students who Mr. Tyree or Mrs. Sallee asked to participate in begins Tuesday 5/20 It will be daily from 9-12 for 16 days not counting weekends and holidays. Students can only miss 2 days to receive credit. It will end June 11th.

CHS 2025 Seniors we are ready to celebrate you tomorrow!

Tomorrow is graduation day for the Class of 2025!! The ceremony will start promptly at 10:00 AM. All Seniors will have 2 floor seats reserved for family members. A program has been placed in each pair of seats and in the seat of each graduate so you will not need to grab one upon entering. The ceremony will be live-streamed and available to watch in the commons. Benches have been set up in the commons area to accommodate overflow crowd. We look forward to celebrating our CHS class of 2025!!

Middle school Parents: we have several items that have been left behind through the year. If your child's jacket, hoodie, backpack or glasses never made it home, chances are they are here. All items remaining after tomorrow will be donated. If you recognize something that belongs to your child, please stop in to pick it up tomorrow.

It's not everyday you get to celebrate the retirement of a beloved educator, but CHS was able to honor our very own Virginia Tennyson! Congratulations and enjoy your retirement!

Wear all cords and stoles to Baccalaureate.

Don't forget about baccalaureate tonight at 6:00. 1st Baptist Church in Chelsea. Wear your cap and gown.
