Important Bus Route Updates for the New School Year

As we prepare for the new school year, we want to thank you for your continued support in helping us provide safe and reliable transportation for our students. We are making a few adjustments to our bus routes to better serve our families and community.

Here are the updates:

Bus 2 - no changes

Bus 3 – This will now be a town route. It will include Harbor Church, Olive Street (from 10th Street south), all town stops east of Highway 66, and will continue to serve Shady Lane. The country portion of Bus 3 will now be served by Buses 6 and 7.

Bus 4 – Will now serve Secondine. There are no changes to pick-up times.

Bus 5 - no changes

Bus 6 – Will continue to serve Bushyhead and will add the country portion south of Highway 66 that was previously on Bus 3.

Bus 7 – Will continue to serve the Bowlin's Springs and Catale areas and will add the country portion on N/S 4310 that was previously on Bus 3.

📌 Important Note for New Riders on Buses 6 & 7:
Please call the Transportation Director at the High School to receive your new pick-up and drop-off times.

We kindly ask for your patience and understanding as these new routes are put into place. Adjustments to times may be necessary during the first days of school as drivers become familiar with the changes.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your student’s school site or contact the Transportation Director. Together, we can make sure every student starts and ends their school day safely.

Thank you for your cooperation and support!

ATTENTION PARENTS! Water across the district has continued to rise in places. Any bus stop we were not able to reach this morning will not be serviced this afternoon. Please have patience with our drivers as they navigate our roads.

Attention Bus 7 riders. Road 4260 north of the reservoir is blocked and pick up will not be possible this AM. Afternoon routes will be reevaluated closer to the end of the school day.

Attention bus riders! Please have some patience this AM as our drivers navigate potentially high water in areas across the district. Some routes will experience delays because of this. Bus 2 will be a few minutes late getting started due to high water for the driver getting to the bus.

HUGE shoutout to our amazing Art Goad Elementary Green Dragons, Dawson Hager-Trundle (3rd grade, Mrs. Pauling's class) and Kellani St. John-Bowlin (4th grade, Mrs. A Culver's class)! 🤩 These two incredible students represented our school with pride at the Eastern Oklahoma State Spelling Bee in Muskogee on Friday, April 25th! With over 200 students competing from elementary to high school, they both shined! A special congratulations to Dawson for placing in the TOP 20! 🌟 As one of the youngest competitors, he held his own against much older students. Kellani, our school Spelling Champion, and Dawson, our runner-up, you make us so proud! Way to go! 💚🐉 #DragonPride #SettingTheStandard #SpellingBeeStars Thank you to our dedicated spelling bee coordinator, Mrs. Reed, for her tireless work!
